An unusual scented two tone Deutzia from China.

This is a really pretty deciduous shrub. It has an upright spreading habit & dark green leaves. In mid-summer it bears masses of hawthorn-like cup shaped flowers. These are fragrant & start lilac & fade to pale lavender. It is hardy & happy in sun or part shade, in most soil types.

Tips: prune immeditely after flowering
